摘　　要：中心城市本科院校实施战略管理既是办学自主权扩大、社会责任增强、高等教育类型多样化的必然,也是学校自主发展、提升自身竞争力的需要。面对日趋激烈的校际竞争以及学校自身实力和创新能力的不足,中心城市本科院校应树立战略发展的意识,主动在服务地方中谋求发展,实现高校自主发展与外部环境的和谐共存。Implementing the strategic management of universities and colleges in central city is not only the necessities of expanding school autonomy, strengthening social responsibility and enlarging higher education types, but also the necessities for school to develop independently and enhance their own competitiveness. Facing with the increasingly fierce competition between schools and deficiency of their own strength and innovation capability, universities and colleges in central city should establish a sense of strategic development and develop in serving region so as to realize the harmonious co-existence of universities and colleges＇ self-development and external environment.
