摘　　要：西部管道乌鲁木齐首站成品油外输泵在日常运行过程中,机械密封频繁出现冒"油雾"现象,对安全生产造成威胁。通过收集设备运转资料,运用统计方法分析判断出造成不正常情况的可能因素。经过逐一排查和筛选,确认了两种造成事故的可能因素,随后采取了现场试验的方法,从而找到了产生该问题的根源,改变了以往依靠更换机械密封而短时期解决问题的模式,彻底解决了外输泵机械密封运转不正常的故障,在解决生产难题的同时,也大大降低了设备维修成本。Statistical analysis methods are used to find out the possible abnormal factors causing frequent mechanical seal failures and posing threats to safe production in the first pump station in Urumqi in the course of its day-to-day operation. By tak- ing a field test, two possible factors that cause such failures have been found out, the problem with mechanical seal failures com- pletely solved, the equipment maintenance costs greatly reduced. Thus the previous mode of operation by relying on a change of the mechanical seals for a short period of time is abandoned.
