The effect of reaction temperature, sulfuric acid concentration, ferrous iron concentration and the liquid-tosolid ratio on the leaching rate of gallium and phosphorus during leaching gallium and phosphorus from phosphours industry flue dust and the effect of phosphate ion concentration and reaction temperature on the precipitation process of gallium and ferrous iron were studied. The results showed that the leaching rate of gallium and phosphorus increased with the increasing of the reaction temperature and sulfuric acid concentration. The effect of ferrous iron on the leaching rate of gallium and phosphorus was not significant. The liquid-to-solid ratio had significant effect on the leaching process of gallium while had little significant effect on the leaching process of phosphorus. Phosphorus in the flue dust can be leached easier than gallium. The precipitation rate of gallium and ferrous iron increased with the increasing of phosphate ion concentration. When the molar ratio of phosphate ion and metal ion was above 1: 1, the effect of phosphate ion concentration on the precipitation process did not change any more. The temperature had a little effect on the precipitation process of gallium, but significant effect on that of ferrous iron.
