摘  要:The biological effects of Ge compounds on the rat with diabete mellitus is reported. The effects of Ge-132 on the pancreatic cells of young rat in vitro have beenexamined in order to elucidate the cytology mechanism. The results show that both 0. 01mmol/L and 1 mmol/L Ge-132 did not affect the morphology of the pancreatic cell. However, Ge-132 in concentration of 0. 01 mmol/L revealed an obvious promotion of the pancreasof young rats to secrete insulin. The effect of Ge-132 was compared with that ofThe biological effects of Ge compounds on the rat with diabete mellitus is reported.
