摘　　要：我们关注超大型建筑的理由有三个：中国大一统式的集权管理，需要用更雄伟的建筑展现其至高无上的权力；中国作为世界发展最迅猛的经济体．需要用更惊人的建筑展现其无所不能的实力．中国拥有十几亿的人口．需要用更广阔的空间展现其泱泱大国的气度。Design of supersized buildings includes two components： conceptual design and engineering design, The essence of conceptual design is to reap freedomfrom restrictions and end up with complete integration while the essence of engineenng design is to care about restrictions in freedom and end up with complete extrication from such restrictions, Therefore, we identified four key issues of concern in the design of supersized buildings, including： 1） A core team that boasts of highly specialized and rich experiences in design of large projects and always possesses leading-edge technologies of design in the related discipines; 2） A wise, decisive and farsighted management team able to embrace opinions and suggestions from all sides and lead and create the future;3） A team of partners and consultants from all over the world ready to provide state-of-the art solutions to the designers at any moment, 4） Designers able to communicate and exchange views with all parties, integrate all relevant resources, identify the core benefits of the design at any time and know when to insist or give up, It should always reflect In design the ＂all-around coordinated work model, systematical design backup and updating mechanism, full-process design control and study as well as comprehensive and precise drawing standard＂.
