摘 要:学术界和民间传说对五世生钦活佛的身世众说纷纭,讹误颇多。事实上,卓哩克图汗布彦绰克图与福晋色勒特博勒噶丹仅有二子:长子布彦蒙库生于光绪十一年(1885),次子布彦克什克生于光绪十三年(1887),他们是同父同母兄弟,并非同父异母或同母异父兄弟,更非生身父子关系。布彦克什克即为五世生钦活佛的俗名,他并非私生子,光绪十六年(1890)被认定为四世生钦活佛的转世灵童。光绪十九年(1893)他到西藏学经之时,师傅为他所取法名为"洛桑策楞车敏"。光绪三十一年(1905),流亡在外蒙古的十三世达赖喇嘛最终承认其活佛地位,法名更改为"多布栋策楞车敏",光绪三十三年(1907)返回新疆。布彦绰克图有四子、五世生钦活佛为第四子或私生第三子的错误说法源于《新旧土尔扈特诸汗和诺颜世系表》。五世生钦活佛是其母亲与西藏喇嘛的私生子之说乃是政敌的栽赃陷害和后人的无端猜测,根本不存在其母亲私通生子之事。布彦蒙库夫妇均系因病去世,弟弟五世生钦活佛并非谋杀他们的凶手和从事民族分裂的阴谋家,而是值得歌颂的进步改革家。The opinion of the academic circles has divided on the life of the Fifth Seng Chen Living Buddha. Actually, Jorigt Khaan Buyanchoktu and his wife Sertborgaldan had only two sons. Their first son named Buyanmonkh was born in 1885. The second son named Buyankeshig was born in 1887. Both of them were born of the same parents rather than different father or mother. Buyankeshig was the secular name of the Fifth Seng Chen Living Buddha who was recognized as the reincarnation of the Fourth Living Buddha in 1890. When he arrived in Tibet to pursue his study in 1893, he was renamed Louvzantserenchimid as his religious name. In 1905, Dalai Lama who lived in exile in Outer Mongolia recognized his legal status as Living Buddha, so his religious name changed into Touvdentserenchimid. He went back to Sin Kiang in 1907 from Tibet. The reason why some scholars stated he was an illegitimate son by his mother and a so-called Tibetan lover is due to unreliable historical record. Both of Buyanmonkh and his wife died of illness, so they were not assassinated by the Fifth Seng Chen living Buddha. He was a praiseworthy reformer rather than a deplorable separatist.
