摘　　要：简要介绍了聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)模塑料的性能及其应用,特别指出PMMA改性及其复合材料在医用高分子材料、光学显示材料和塑料光纤等领域的应用和发展前景。对PMMA国内外技术进展、装置产能、研发现状以及市场需求状况进行了分析,并对产品开发提出了建议。Properties and applications of polymethyl methacrylate （PMMA） moulding material were introduced in brief. Specially, applications and development prospects of modified and composite materials of PMMA were pointed out in medical polymer, optical display material and optical fibre. Technology progress,device capacity,status of research and development and market demand at home and abroad were analysized here,and some suggestions for developing new product were put forward.
