摘　　要：随着现代社会的发展,公共交通作为城市的枢纽,关系到地区经济的发展与人民生活质量的提高。为解决目前城市交通日益恶化的现状,本文在对GPS和G IS技术的分析与研究的基础上,重点阐述了这两种技术在公共交通管制领域中的集成与应用。并分析、设计了基于GPS和G IS的公共交通指挥系统,为解决目前公共交通所面临的问题提供了一种新的方法和手段。With the development of modern society, public transportation becomes a hub, which is correlated to the development of region economy and the improvement of people＇s living, quality. This paper mainly expounds on the integration and application of the two techniques in traffic control field based on analyzing and studyifig GPS and GIS techniques. It analyzes and designs public transportation command system, also, it provides a new means to solve the problems that public traffic is facing.
