摘　　要：《德伯家的苔丝》是哈代最为著名的小说之一,描述了一个被人诱奸而后又犯下杀人罪过的女人的故事。文章试图站在现代人的立场,并从女性的视角来剖析这部作品及它的作者:苔丝仍然是以男性为中心的世界里被理想化的缺乏自我意识的女性牺牲品;而哈代在对苔丝同情的背后,在把苔丝纯洁化的同时,也把他作为男性喜好的烙印打在了苔丝的身上。Tess, one of Hardy＇s most famous novels, is about a woman＇s tragedy, in which the girl Tess was first seduced, and then committed murder case. This paper attempts to study the novel and author from a modern feminist perspective. Tess was still an idealized victim without self-consciousness in an androcentric world. Behind Hardy＇s sympathy for Tess, he simultaneously imposes on Tess the brand of male preference while trying to purify her.
