摘 要:综述了氢氧碳稳定同位素的概念、示踪原理及其应用于定量确定植物水分来源、水分利用格局和水分利用效率等方面研究进展。同时展望了全球气候变化条件下,氢氧碳多种稳定同位素联合示踪先进技术在定量研究植物水分利用策略以及植被对全球气候变化的响应机制研究中的应用前景。Stable isotopic technology is a new method to determine sources and utilization patterns of plant water. The main advantage of this technology is that it can provide results of relatively high accuracy and sensitivity. The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the concepts and theory of stable isotope tracing, and the methods of using stable isotopes of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon to quantify sources of plant water and pattern and efficiency of plant water use. This paper uses some examples to demonstrate how the stable isotopic technology may be used to address different issues re- lated to plant water use strategies, and provides some perspectives on applications of the advanced technology of simultaneously tracing multiple stable isotopes ( hydrogen, oxygen and carbon) in studring mechanisms of potential vegetation responses to global climate change.
