两系杂交水稻新组合培两优余红的选育

摘　　要：培两优余红是湖南农业大学用本校选育的晚籼品种余红１号与湖南杂交水稻研究中心选育的培矮６４Ｓ配组育成的两系杂交晚稻新组合。该组合具有产量高、整精米率高、米质较好、综合抗性好等特点，１９９７年２月通过了湖南省农作物品种审定委员会审定。Peiliangyou Yuhong, the cross between Pei'ai 64S and Yuhong 1 (a released indica late rice variety), is a newly-developed two-line hybrid rice. It was released to farmers in February, 1997. In the 1994 and 1995 Hunan Rice Variety Regional Trials, it yielded a mean of 6.88 t/hm2, a little lower than check Weiyou 46 (7.00 t/hm2), but its milling yield was significantly higher than that of check Weiyou 46. When planted as late rice in double-cropping system in Hunan, it is about 97 cm tall with strong tillering ability. Its seed set is more than 85% with a mean of 120 spikelets/panicle and a 1 000-grain weight of 24 g. Its grain quality is acceptable with a high head rice rate of 68.0%, a moderate amylose content of 23.1% and a high protein content of 10.27%. The major cultural management of the combination was also briefly discussed.
