摘　　要：基质金属蛋白酶-13是人体内最重要的蛋白酶之一,属于基质金属蛋白酶超家族成员中胶原酶的一种。其主要功能是分解细胞外基质,参与人体多种生理和病理过程。该因子在人体内较多细胞中都能表达,其表达又受细胞生长因子、激素和基质金属蛋白酶组织抑制剂等因子的调节。基质金属蛋白酶-13与成人慢性牙周炎的发生发展密切相关,且作用底物主要是Ⅰ～Ⅲ型胶原。Matrix metalloprotease（MMP）-13 is one of the most important proteinases in vivo. It belongs to the collagenases of the MMP hyperfamily. Its main function is to decompose extracellularmatrix, participating in many physiological and pathological processes. Many kinds of cells can express matrix metalloprotease and its expression is adjusted by many factors, such as cell growth factor, hormone, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteas, and so on. Its main operational project is Ⅰ-Ⅲ collagen. And it has key contact with adult chronic periodontitis.
