摘　　要：构建社会主义和谐社会是当前中国共产党和中国人民面临的重大时代课题和紧迫任务。社会主义和谐社会的提出,既有中国传统的文化资源,又有马克思主义唯物史观的理论基础。笔者从顺应全球化发展趋势、发展社会主义市场经济、解决国内诸多矛盾和实现全面建设小康社会奋斗目标四个方面,论述建设社会主义和谐社会的必然性,并着重探讨和谐农村在构建和谐社会进程中的地位与途径。Building a harmonious socialist society is the major topic of the times and urgency of the task of the CPC and the Chinese people. There are Chinese traditional cultural resources and the theoretical foundation of the Marxist historical materialism to putting forward the harmonious socialist society. This article discusses the historical inevitability of building a harmonious socialist society, and expounds the status and way of building a harmonious countryside in the process of building a harmonious society from conforming to the globalization, the development of socialist market economy, resolving to the internal conflicts,and realizing the objective of building a well-off Society in an all-round way.
