摘  要:"生态旅游"自其概念被引入国内时起便引起了诸多学者及实业界人士的高度关注。然而,大众化的发展模式所支撑起的生态旅游实践却违背了生态旅游的本质。究竟应该是大众化还是小规模?从环境影响、游客体验和经济功能三个方面进行探讨,不难得出生态旅游应该遵循小规模发展原则的结论。同时,合理地设定发展目标、科学管理承载力、小众营销、建立舆论监督机制等策略的实施对于保障生态旅游地的可持续发展也至关重要。"Eco-tourism" has been paying close attention by Chinese scholars and businessmen since it was first introduced into China. Practically, however, the present mass-centered developmental model is going against the essence of eco-tourism. A conclusion that eco-tourism should follow a principle of small-scaled development will be made if it is explored from the aspects of environmental factors, tourists ' experience and economic functions. Meanwhile, the implementation of rational objects, scientific bearing capacity management as well as the establishment of media supervision mechanism are also of great importance to ensure a sustainable development in those places where eco-tourism is popularized.
