The aim of the study is to provide the basis for Online Measurement and controlling new block wall material dry shrinkage crack by the experimental exploration of new block wall material monomer drying shrinkage characteristics and the influence rules. The effects of different initial moisture content and several kinds of environmental relative humidity on three kinds of different new block wall material monomer dry shrinkage performance have been studied in the experiment. The results are found as following:the new block wall material monomer dry shrinkage value is proportional to the moisture content; the higher the initial moisture content, the bigger the later dry shrinkage value is;the new block wall material monomer's e- quilibrium moisture content is proportional to the environmental relative humidity which is the important index of the masonry dry shrinkage;when the environmental relative humidity changes, the dry shrinkage and wet-expansion deformation of the new block wall material monomer occurs. The conclusion is that the low moisture content can reduce the dry shrinkage of the wall after build-up and prevent wall's crack effectively, and the ideal wall material monomer's moisture content should approach the equilibrium moisture content of wall application environment.
