摘　　要：海洋开发已成为解决人口急剧增长、陆地资源日益减少、环境不断恶化等问题的主要出路。但是海洋环境与资源的特殊性决定了海洋开发对科学技术的高度依赖性。与发达国家相比,我国在海洋技术创新方面还有较大的差距,科技对经济的贡献率较低。为了实现沿海经济的可持续发展,我们必须从海洋经济发展的具体实际出发,以科学发展观为指导,进一步发挥科技对海洋经济科学发展的推动作用。Marine development is a measure to respond to the crisis of population growth, resource shortage and deterioration of the ecological environment. Marine development highly depend on science and technology. The ability of marine technology to support development of marine economy is fairly weak in China compared to developed countries. Scientific and technology innovation should be emphasized to promote the sustainable development of marine economy.
