摘　　要：小湾水电站是国家实施西部大开发、西电东送战略的标志性工程。其规模巨大,诸多技术、施工难题均属世界之最。小湾水电站的建设,攻克了诸多水电建设难题,建设管理工作成绩显著,为世界级水电工程的建设管理提供了有益经验。The Xiaowan Hydropower Station is the symbol and key project for China＇s Great Western Development and the Strategy of Power Transmission from West to East. Due to its massive scale, the Project encountered many technical and engineering difficulties which are unprecedented worldwide. During the construction period of the Project, many hydropower construction difficulties were conquered and the achievements of construction and management are outstanding, which provides valuable experience for the construction and management of world-level hydropower projects.
