摘　　要：CLIPS是美国航空航天局约翰逊太空中心用C语言设计的一个专家系统工具,其知识存储方式不利于知识的检索和修改。在分析了对CLIPS知识库进行转换的必要性后,提出采用XML表示知识库。并且以数据库为中间环节,先将CLIPS知识库用关系数据库表示,再实现关系数据库到XML知识库的转换。讨论了整个构建过程及相关的技术。设计了用数据库存储事实的知识库结构,研究了一种关系数据库到XML文档的转换算法。CLIPS, an acronym for C language integrated production system, was an expert system development tool designed using C langusge by NASA/JOHNSON Space Center. The knowledge base in CLIPS is not good for retrieval and modification. Analyze the study necessity of the exchange of CLIPS knowledge base. By chooseing XML to represent the knowledge base of CLIPS, use database as an intermediate technology to convert the fact model into the relation table model, then convert the database into the XML data format. The whole description of thesis construction process is discussed.
