中老年人肥胖及其与疾病关系的调查

摘　　要：本文对534例45～80岁中老年人群进行了调查,结果发现肥胖发生率达53.7％,体重指数(BMI)≥26的人群占24.8％。国内常将BMI≥24为肥胖标准,肥胖大多与高血压、糖尿病,高甘油三酯血症发病有关,与冠心病、中风、高胆固醇血症发病无明显关系。而上述疾病大多数在BMI≥26时其发病率均明显增加。本文认为,我国人群,至少在老年人中有体重增加趋势,以BMI≥24作为肥胖标准是否合适,可做进一步调查。It is indicated that the incidence of obesity is 53.7% and the body mass index (BMI)over 26 is 24.8% in our series of 534 cases from 45 to 80 of age. Obesity is considered to be related significantly to essential hypertension, diabetes, and hypertriglyceridemia,but not to coronary heart diseases,hypercholesterol and stroke. Whether BMI over 24 as a criterion for the diagnosis of obesity is suitable or not further investigation is needed.
