The Age Difference in the Use of English Nonce Borrowings in Chinese

摘　　要：对北京市常住人口的问卷调查显示,汉语中的英语临时借用存在明显年龄差异,其使用率和使用对象数随年龄升高而显著降低,这种分布与样本的英语熟练程度、英语交际环境、心理认同等多方面因素相关。The data collected from the questionnaire survey conducted among Beijing residents show that there exists significant age difference in the use of English nonce borrowings in Chinese. The use ratio and number of targets are both negatively correlated with age. English proficiency, the English communication environment and the young people＇s identity with peers are among the causes for this correlation.
