摘  要:《红楼梦》成功地塑造了许多极富特色的"媒妁"形象,其中"亲属为媒"、"市井之人为媒",反映了封建伦理与社会礼教束缚下的封建婚姻形态;而"丫鬟为媒"、"以物为媒"、"自媒",则反映了青年男女对于自由爱情的追求与向往。"媒妁"形象反映了人们对待婚姻问题的思想倾向,包含着深邃的文化意义。A Dream of Red Mansions succeeded in shaping a lot of very unique matchmaker images, the relative matchmaker, the civilian matchmaker etc, which reflect the feudal ethics and social ethics under the shackles of the feudal marriage patterns ; however, the maidservant matchmaker, the pledge matchmaker and the self-matchmaker etc. reflect the young men and women's pursuit of freedom and longing for love. The article tries to show the thought about the people marriage evolution from the contrast of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, then makes a preliminary search on their profound cultural significance.
