摘 要:左拉明确提出了作家创作"非个人化"主张,要求作家叙事时应该像科学家那样保持客观冷静的态度和超然中立的立场。"非个人化",从根本上说乃是自然主义作家为了确保"真实感"而刻意实施的一种叙事策略。"非个人化"与"个性表现"两者在"真实感"中得到了很好的统一。将叙事主体"隐匿"起来的企图为自然主义叙事技巧的革新提供了动力,他们所创造的"转换叙事角度"、"使用自由间接引语"等叙事手法均被现代主义作家所发扬光大。Zola explicitly asserts that the production of writers should be "impersonal," that writers should hold an objective and calm attitude as well as a neutral and aloof stand, as scientists analyze their experiments. This, fundamentally speaking, is a narrative strategy Naturalistic writers have assiduously implemented to ensure "the sense of the real. " And "impersonal" thus is united with "individualized expression. " The endeavor to "hide" narrative subject has provided momentum for the innovation of naturalistic techniques, and their innovation of narration in "shifting narrative perspectives" and "adopting free and indirect quotations" has later been glorified by modernist writers.
