摘 要:比利时格哈兹博根杨树研究中心的育种研究始于1948年。50年来,这个中心一直优先考虑收集大量杨树优良种源,特别注重对自然分布区边缘和地理隔离带的典型种源的收集,建立了具有丰富基因型的杨树基因库。采用个体———家系选择的育种程序,对杂种苗进行大量的抗锈病和抗细菌性溃疡病的筛选试验,培育出一些具有速生、抗病性强且材质好的无性系。本文介绍了这个中心多年来在育种材料筛选、抗锈病、抗细菌性溃疡病育种,以及回交利用方面所取得的成就与经验。The Poplar breeding research program in Geraardsbergen Poplar Research Center began in 1948. For 50 years, the center has been preoccupied with the establishment of a basic collection of genetic material comprising as many poplar species,provenances and clones as possible, including representatives found at the limits of natural distributions and those found in geographically isolated areas. Establishment of good gene pool had been completed. By adopting individual-family breeding procedure, screening test of seedlings from controlled crosses were conducted in rust-resistant and canker-resistant, superior clones,characterized by higher disease resistance and fast growth have been obtained. The paper introduced the achievement made by the center in selection rust-resistant, canker-resistant and backcrosses.
