摘　　要：随着信息技术的不断普及,地理信息系统(GIS)专业人才在西部发展中发挥着越来越大的作用。本文立足于西部发展的需要,针对目前技能型人才短缺和应用教育的不足,结合我校地理信息系统专业教育实际,提出GIS专业应用型人才培养的一些有效措施。With the spread of information technology, the geographic information systems professional talents are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the western region. Based on the needs of the development of the western region, in view of the current shortage of skilled talents and application education, combining with the situation of GIS professional education in our university, some effective measures of GIS professional training were explored.
