摘　　要：沃特·伯利·格里芬的设计几乎涉及了所有艺术领域,在风景园林设计、建筑设计和社区规划等方面都取得了很大的成绩。回顾了格里芬的成长与事业经历,并对格里芬在风景园林领域的设计思想及其作品进行了研究。揭示了在现代风景园林刚刚起步的时期,格里芬以其对自然的热爱和敏感,根据地形和环境条件调整自己的设计思路,着重凸显当地地域的自然风貌,注重对乡土植物的保护与利用,是一个典型的自然主义设计师。Walter Burley Griffin＇s designs and ideas embraced nearly every aspect of the man-made environment. In additions to his architecture, he showed remarkable talents in landscape architecture and community development. This article recalls Griffin＇s growth and cause of experience, studies his design ideas and works in the field of landscape architecture, and also reveals Griffin＇s design philosophy that he adjusts his design ideas according to the terrain and environmental conditions, and highlights the local geographical characters and focuses on the conservation and utilization of native plants. He was a typical naturalist.
