摘　　要：文章通过对山西省图书馆近几年来一系列展览实践的回顾与思考,进一步明确了展览服务在树立公共图书馆的公共形象、发挥图书馆的宣传教育功能、提高图书馆的社会地位等方面所具有的重大作用,分析探讨了公共图书馆展览工作的一些基本原则、风格模式及发展前景。The paper shows several important functions of exhibition service. Such as, it could build up the public library＇ s image, develop the function of propaganda and education, and elevate the library＇s status. At last, the paper analyzes and probes into the Shanxi Library and other public library＇ s exhibition work, and gives some fundamental principle rule, its style model and development prospect.
