摘　　要：特征因子是汤姆森路透科技集团(Thomson Reuters)在新近发布的增强版《期刊引用报告》中推出的期刊评价新指标,包括特征因子分值(Eigerrfactor Score)和论文影响分值(Article Influence Score)。详细介绍特征因子的概念、工作原理以及特征因子的计算方法和公式,并以医学信息学领域的核心期刊为例分析讨论特征因子和影响因子的区别。Eigenfactor is a new indicator for evaluation of journals, which is launced by Thomson Reuters in the newly released enhanced edition of JCR, including eigenfaetor score and article influence score. The paper introduces the eigenfactor in detail, including its concept, working principle, calculation methods and formulas. It also discusses the difference between the eigenfactor and impact factor by using the core journals in the medical informatics area as examples.
