摘　　要："城市空间增长管理"是"城市增长管理"概念的具体化与对象的明晰化,城市空间规划必须借助城市空间增长管理才能实现既定的发展目标。通过对国内外相关城市增长管理研究现状的讨论,认为关于城市空间增长管理的研究仍然需要在规范性研究和实证性研究两个层面进一步深入:系统进行中国特色的城市空间增长管理基础理论的研究,强化运用现代技术开展对特定城市空间增长管理效用的实证研究。The “urban spatiat growth management ”（USGM） is developed on the basis of“urban growth management” （UGM）, which is more specific than UGM. The urban spatial plan could achieve its goal in virtue of USGM. This paper reviews the researches about urban growth management home and abroad and then puts forwards that in China the issue of USGM still require further studies from two aspects： the systemic research on the basic theories of USGM with Chinese characteristics, and the utilization of modern techniques to examine the effectiveness of USGM in cities.
