摘　　要：MARC中的附注块,是书目数据的重要组成部分和其他字段的有力补充,可以深层次地揭示文献的内容特征,甚至可以用来构建基于细节内容相关而非整体一致性的特色文献数据库,可以作为"参考咨询"工具来使用,对读者和图书馆工作都有不可忽视的作用。The note area of the Machine Readable Catalogue is the most important component of bibliography data and the powerful supplement of the other description fields. It can deeply reveal the content characteristics of the literature, and it even can construct the characteristic literature database, which is related to the details of the content, not the overall consistency. The note area can be used as the tool of the reference and has the important function to the readers and library work.
