摘　　要：基于对北京高校图书馆编目工作调查数据的统计,高校图书馆职工总人数有上升趋势,而编目员总人数有下降趋势;编目员高学历比率较高,高职称比率不低,但没有正高职称;编目员老中青三结合、年龄结构合理,但高校图书馆编目队伍中的高水平资深编目员数量并不多。图书馆的编目业务需要更高素质的编目员。Based on Beijing university library cataloging statistics, the total number of university library workers shows the upward trend, while the total number of the cataloger shows the downward trend; the highly educated takes high percentage, while high-titles catalogers takes low percentage; the age rank of catalogers is extensive and the age structure is reasonable, but the number of high-level catalogers is not enough. The cataloging work of the library needs more high-quality catalogers.
