摘 要:对传统的混合纹理合成方法进行了改进,提出一种新的基于金字塔的改进纹理合成方法.这种算法用图像金字塔和Ashikhmin搜索策略来保存纹理的结构特征并加快合成速度.本文还提出了一种通过对样本纹理进行预计算来加速块匹配过程的方法.与混合纹理合成方法相比较,本方法在对合成质量影响不大的前提下显著改善了合成速度.As two main approaches to texture synthesis, pixel-based synthesis and patch-based synthesis are complementary to each other in terms of texture representation and distortion, Nealen and Alexa' s hybrid texture synthesis (HTS) has achieved a good result by combining the advantages of the two approaches while avoiding many of their weaknesses. This paper presents a new approach for texture synthesis called "Pyramid- Based Improved Hybrid Texture Synthesis" based on HTS. The algorithm uses image pyramid and Ashikhmin' s search strategy to preserve the global structure of texture and speed up the synthesizing process. In addition, a new method to accelerate the patch matching process by pre-computing the input texture are proposed. Compared with the HTS, the synthesizing process of the technique is significantly faster in average with the synthesis performance and is as good as HTS.
