摘　　要：服务意识是期刊体现"以人为本"的关键。要树立为读者、作者服务的办刊思想;编辑要把人文关怀自觉地导入医学期刊的文化构建中,对广大医学工作者人文情怀的养成起到重要的范导作用;编辑要将自身所追求的人文境界与审美理想传达给读者,使读者在获取科技信息的同时得到审美的享受、心情的愉悦并产生创新的灵感。The service consciousness, for any periodicals, is a key to incarnate ＂ people oriented＂, which is an idea of running periodicals as serving readers and authors. Editors should spontaneously put their humanistic concerns into the cultural construction of medical periodicals, which could set up an important example for cultivating medical workers＇ humanistic spirit. The editors should transmit their concepts and ideals on humanism and aesthetics, which the editors themselves are pursuing, to readers. Thus, when gaining scientific information, the readers can get aesthetic enjoyment, emotional pleasure, and innovative inspiration.
