摘　　要：本文着重分析美国民族主义形成的根源。众所周知,美国文化源自欧洲大陆的清教文化,殖民地时期的清教思想是美国信念的首要来源;而源自欧洲的自由民主思想亦对美国民族主义有着深远的影响。This article focuses on the origins of the American nationalism.It is well known that American culture originates from the Puritan culture of continental Europe,and the colonial Puritanism is the primary source of belief in the United States.On the other hand,the ideas of freedom and democracy in Europe also have a far-reaching influence on the American nationalism.
