试论ISBN在图书采编工作中的应用

摘　　要：ISBN的结构具有唯一性、可识别性、可校验性等特点,可以在图书的采访编目工作中用于检索、查重、套录、校验,由于存在因同号异书、同书异号及ISBN升位等现象,给采编工作带来影响,因此应采取多途径查重,以《普通图书著录规则》为指导如初著录、全面分析套录数据信息,将内容相同的图书分类标引在一起。The structure of 10-digit and 13-digit ISBN and its uniqueness, identifiability, verification are introduced, and, as an efficient and easy retrieval tool, functions of the retrieval, repetition check, double input, check can be fully made use of.Effects of same number of different books, same books of different number and the improvement of ISBN are analysed, and corresponding measures are proposed that diversified checking, authentic cataloguing based on Ordinary Books Cataloguing Rules, detailed analysis of doubled input information, and putting the books of the same content together should be applied.
