Antibacterial Activities of Nine Chinese Medicinal Plants

摘  要:选用12种细菌,采用滤纸片琼脂平板扩散法对9种中草药的乙醇提取物进行抗菌筛选.其中溪黄草、石猪肝、虎杖和红根草表现出较强的抗菌活性,抑菌圈直径为10~28 mm.将这4种植物的乙醇提取物分别用氯仿、乙酸乙酯和正丁醇抽提,测定不同抽提物对最为敏感的5种细菌的抑菌圈大小,并采用微量肉汤稀释法进一步测定了最小抑菌浓度(Minimal Inhibitory Concentration,MIC)和最小杀菌浓度(minimum bactericidal concentration,MBC).测得MIC和MBC的值在0.016 g/L和0.500 g/L之间.Ethanol extracts of nine Chinese traditional medicine plants were screened for antibacterial activity against twelve bacterial strains by the agar disc diffusion method. Four of them (Rabdosia serra, Angiopteris f okiensis, Polygonurn cuspidatum, Salvia prionitis ) showed promising activity against several organisms. The maximum of inhibition zone diameters were observed from extracts of Angiopteris fokiensis in the range of 10-28 mm. The inhibition zone of chloroform, ethyl acetate and butanol fractions from the ethanol extract of the four species were tested against five most sensitive strains. Then the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of the active fractions were determined with broth microdilution method. The value of MICs and MBCs ranges between 0. 016 g/L and 0. 500 g/L.
