摘　　要：城市供水管网信息管理系统是为解决基础数据管理复杂、信息查询检索困难、应对突发事件能力较差等现状提出来的;是GIS在城市规划中主要应用之一,有着良好的应用前景。以连云港市供水管网信息管理系统的设计为例,采用Mapinfo为地理信息系统平台,用VB+MapX进行二次开发,介绍说明设计的具体过程。The construction of urban water supply pipe network is to solve the complexity of basic data management, the difficulties of information retrieval, the adaptability of emergencies, etc. This system, which is based on GIS, is one of the major applications in urban planning, and it has good application prospects. This article will take the management information system of Lianyungang city water supply network as an example, using Mapinfo as the system platform and VB＋MapX as the second development language. Introduce the process of designing.
