摘　　要：介绍了新疆牧区基本情况和新疆牧民定居现状及存在的问题,分析了新疆牧区水利建设的现状和作用,提出要从战略高度认识牧区水利建设的重要性;加大政策扶持和财政金融支持,保证牧区建设资金来源稳定;高标准建设牧民定居工程;高标准建设饲草料地。The basic situation of the grassland pastoral areas and the status in quo and existing problems of the settlement of herdsmen in grassland pastoral areas in Uygur autonomous Region of Xinjiang were introduced.The present situation and function of water conservancy construction were analyzed.The corresponding countermeasures were put forward as follows:(1)strategic understanding of the importance of pasture water conservancy to Uygur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang;(2)strengthening of policy and financial support so as to ensure the stable source of funds;(3)construction of settling projects with high standards for herdsmen;(4)construction of forage grass and feeding stuff areas with high standards.
