摘　　要：基于Applet技术的网络地理信息系统,由于Applet本身的技术限制不能满足用户对系统的功能需求。JSF的基于组件开发和AJAX的异步通信为网络地理信息系统开发工作提供一种新的技术路线。介绍基于JSF和AJAX的网络地理信息系统的技术特点,通过一个应用实例来说明两种技术在开发中的应用。Web GIS is based on Applet, dues to the technique restriction of Applet itself, can not appease users＇need on capabilities of Web GIS. JSF with developing based on component and AJAX with asynchronous communication, together offer the developing work on Web GIS a new way. Introduces the characteristic of technique on Web GIS based on JSF and AJAX, explains how to apply these two kinds of technique to development with an application example.
