摘　　要：运用问卷调查、文献资料、访谈及统计分析等研究方法对湖北省农村中小学体育现状进行了调查,并从体育教育观和体育教育思想、师资、场地、教材、教学实施等情况进行分析,从而对湖北省农村中小学体育现状提出了改良对策:更新教师的教育观念;改革课程内容,构建新的课程体系;建立新的考核评价体制;开发体育教师资源工程;改善体育设施工程等。With the research methods of questionaire investigation, literature, interview and statistics, the paper shows the investigation of the current P.E. in the elementary and middle schools in the rural areas in Hubei province and analyses the P. E. value, P.E. concept, teacher, teaching court and teaching implementation and proposes countermeasures.
