摘　　要：否定转移是英语中一种特殊的句法现象,由于具有非否定转移不可比拟的间接委婉等话语功能优势而成为言语交际者在表达否定意见时首选的语用策略之一。否定转移的产生是多种语用因素共同作用的结果,其中语用习惯语法化、主观性及礼貌要求等起了主要作用。As a special structure of the English language,the transferred negation,characterized by indirectness and politeness,etc.,is preferable as a pragmatic strategy to non-transferred negation or direct negation in communication.This paper explores the factors contributing to the transferred negation,the major ones of which include grammaticalization,subjectivity and politeness.
