摘 要:中国古代小说理论批评的文体形式,从近代开始逐步向逻辑化和理论化方向演进。在传统评点类文体形式日益式微的同时,包括序跋在内的专题论文脱离了对具体作家、作品作理论批评的模式,开始从理论的高度阐发小说创作中的诸多问题,体现出自觉向西方近现代学术研究范式靠拢的努力;在批评语言运用上,打破文言束缚、提倡浅近通俗、引进外来语汇等已成为理论批评家们的自觉行为;借鉴和学习"欧西文思"、重视表述条理性,也使得近代小说理论批评文体更具逻辑性、客观性等特点。中国小说理论批评文体形式的近代变革对开创中国现代小说理论批评具有不可忽视的意义与价值。Chinese critical essays on fictional writing began to evolve in the genre and style during the pre-modern period into a more logical and theoretical discourse. With the decline of the genre and style of commentaries, critical writings, including preface and postscript, began to examine various theoret- ical issues concerning fictional writing instead of focusing merely on the specific texts and authors. These efforts showed they were consciously adopting the contemporary western discourse in academic writing. The language used in the criticism also exhibited the critics' conscious abandonment of archaic classical language {or a p|atn vernacular langu^tt^e w, ern way of thought more easily integrated into the criticism. The resulting theoretical writing was more lucid in argument and the essays on fiction theory were more logical and academically styled. Based on these analyses, the paper concludes with an initial evaluation of the significance and achievements of generic and stylistic innovation of the criticism.
