摘　　要：基于Heckman样本选择模型,利用我国东、中、西部地区9个省份的城镇居民调查数据,探讨我国城市居民健康对就业及收入的影响。研究发现,健康对就业具有显著的正向效应,但在收入决定方面,健康虽然具有正向效应,却不显著。研究表明,健康作为人力资本的一个重要因素,对我国城市地区居民的就业与收入具有重要影响。Based on the Heckman sample selection Model, employing the survey data of urban residential in 2006 from nine provinces separately in the eastern, middle and western regions, this paper explores the role of health health on employment and income decision in Chinese urban areas. The main finding of this paper is that status impacts labor participation employment opportunities significantly, and the coefficient of health is positive. Although health status has a positive effect on individual income, it is not a significant determinant. Still we believe that as one of the important manpower capital factors, the effect of health on employment as well as on individual income is important for urban residents in our country.
