摘　　要：商周青铜器上的动物纹(如兽面纹)乃是自然界百神的形象,其社会功能是为了使当时的贵族和平民得到佑助,使社会各阶层和谐相处。Those animal designs （ especially beast - faced designs） on bronze vessels in Shang and Zhou dynasties are statues of nature gods at the time, the decoration of them on bronze vessels is to bless nables and plebeians in safety , and make the whole society in homony.
