摘　　要：公安院校的非公安高职教育,是在本世纪初国家高等教育扩招的大背景下发展起来的。运用SWOT法分析公安院校非公安高职教育具有的优势与劣势、面临的机遇与挑战,可以更加科学地掌握非公安高职专业发展过程中的外在机遇、潜在威胁及内部优势与劣势,科学决策,积极适应经济、社会发展的需要,在现有条件下充分发挥学校教育资源的最大功能。Non-police higher professional education in police colleges was born in the early century under the background of higher education expansion. We studies with SWOT Analysis, a tool for evaluating strengths （S） and weaknesses（W）, opportunities （O） and threats（T） of non-police higher professional education in police colleges, is to scientifically grasp outer opportunities and avoid potential threats, and to positively meet the needs of social and economic development, and to make full use of present educational resources.
