摘　　要：由于多媒体通信的发展，全光网络成为具有美好发展前景的技术。而接入网的光纤化成为必然的趋势。无源光网络（ＰＯＮ）以其经济有效的成网特点尤其引人注目。本文首先介绍了无源光网络系统的发展情况，然后讨论了有关发展无源光网络的最新技术问题。Alloptical networks are emerging as a promising technology with the development of multimedia communication. Therefore, it is a trend to introduce fiber into access network. Especially, passive optical networks prove to be a costeffective way to carry it out. The paper first describes the evolution of passive optical network, then some new technologyical issues of passive optical network are discussed
