摘　　要：通过分析作者对《黑暗的心》中马洛这一独具匠心的角色设计,揭示了马洛在该小说结构和主题两方面所起到的不可替代的作用以及他和作者之间的特殊关系。By analyzing Conrad＇s original designing of this functioning character Marlow in Heart of Darkness, this paper focuses itself on Marlow＇s functions in the novel,his indispensable importance in the structural and thematic functions in the novel and his special relationship with the author.
