摘　　要：立足展示设计,解释了什么是文脉,为什么要表现文脉以及如何通过符号设计来表现文脉。在展示设计中及描述民族历史的过程中,图形符号以其自身的长期积累和不断提炼,蕴含了大量的文化含义,在作为装饰符号运用到展示设计中时,能够充分体现出悠久的历史以及地域文化特色,近而明晰文化的本质是借助符号来传达意义的人类行为的传承概念。This paper, based on exhibition design, explains what is culture, why to express culture and how to use symbol design to express culture. In the process of depicting a nation＇s history, graphic symbols are endowed with a lot of cultural meanings by way of accumulating and abstracting. As a result, it can reflect the history and local cultural features when applied to exhibition design as decoration symbols. This paper further clarifies that the nature of culture is a kind of transmission to use symbols to express meanings by humans＇ behaviors.
