摘　　要：介绍了基于Ｊａｖａ的网络管理代理和传统的网络管理结构和代理在其中所起的起用．分析了传统网络管理系统方案所存在的缺憾．针对这些缺憾，将Ｊａｖａ的技术优点结合到网络管理中，实现一个基于Ｊａｖａ的网络管理代理，从而使网络管理代理具有可扩展性、跨平台、安全性强，能方便地支持和管理者间进行异步操作的特性．最后，介绍了实现的代理的模型和功能．The framework of conventional network management (NM) and agents' function in it are introduced. The imperfectness of conventional NM system scheme is analyzed. NM is integrated with Java technology in allusion to the imperfectness and an NM agent on the basis of Java is carried out. This agent has characteristics of extensibility, portability across platforms, security and can support asynchronous operation with manager easily. The paper also introduces the agent's model and functions.
