长白山区白山市的森林资源与林业可持续发展研究

摘　　要：为了对长白山林区日益严重的森林资源危机，林区经济危困有所了解，有所认识，自１９９５年开始，对位于长白山西南坡的白山市管辖区内的森林资源，森工产业状况及相关情况进行实地考察、调研、咨询。广阔的北温带针阔叶林，是地球上重要的植被带。长白山森林生态系统处于这片森林的最南端，保存相对完整，是举世注目的森林生态系统之一。结果指出：发展农林业系统工程是克服当前林区经济危困的有效措施。Changbai Mountain locates at the southern edge of the boreal forest. From 1995, we have been investigating the forest resources of Changbai Mountain in Baishan City. This work was supported by Department of Social Development, State Science and Technology Commission of P.R.C.. The boreal forest is a broad, circumpolar mixture of cool coniferous and deciduous tree species which covers over 14.7 million km 2, or 11%, of the earth's terrestrial surface. At these latitudes, a strong correlation exists between the seasonal dynamics of atmospheric carbon dioxide and the seasonal dynamics of the “greenhouse” of the earth. A possible causal relation, in which the dynamics of the forests at these latitudes regulates the atmospheric carbon concentrations, appears to be consistent with the present day understanding of ecological processes in these ecosystems. This paper sums up the results of research on the management of forest resources, the succession and the conservation of forest ecosystem at Changbai Mountain, and agroforestry systems project etc.
