摘　　要：Web2.0是目前正在兴起的Web技术,包括流行的博客和AJAX等技术。AJAX技术是多种以往技术的综合,是有着广泛应用的新技术。AJAX在大多数浏览器中都能使用,而且不需要任何专门的软件或硬件。它是一种客户端方法,可以与.NET,J2EE,PHP,CGI和Ruby等脚本交互。AJAX在众多地方得到应用,如:Google Maps,Gmail和Google Suggest。Google Web Toolkit(GWT)是Google推出的AJAX应用开发包,GWT支持开发者使用Java语言开发AJAX应用。介绍了AJAX技术的定义和原理,说明了为什么选用GWT技术开发AJAX应用程序,最后分析了GWT技术设计AJAX组件的方法和需要注意的地方。通过分析可以看出用GWT开发AJAX应用,上手容易,开发效率高,程序复用性好,开发出来的产品不需要考虑不同浏览器的兼容性,比较适合目前越来越复杂的脚本开发,满足越来越高的用户体验要求。Web2.0 is currently popular Web technologies, including BLOG and AJAX, etc. AJAX technology is a variety of integrated technology and is widely used. AJAX can be used in most browsers, but does not require any special software or hardware. It is a client - side approach, can be interactive with NET, J2EE, PHP, CGI scripts and Ruby. AJAX application is in many areas, such as： Google Maps, Grnail and Google Suggest. Google Web Toolkit （referred to as GWT） is a Google introduced AJAX application development package, GWT support for developers to use Java language to develop AJAX applications. Introduced the definition of AJAX technology and theory, and then explains the cause why to use GWT technology to develop AJAX applications, finally learn the technology to design GWT and need attention. Through the analysis of the development of AJAX application using GWT, can be seen that GWT is easy to use, the high efficiency to develop,reusability procedures,and developed products do not need to consider different browser compatibility, is more suitable for the current script development, to meet user requirements.
